Well, I did post pics of the lobster dinner last year. I can't remember whether they were my first pics or not.

Add some brown sausage gravy , and pull pork, even Mr Dice man would eat that.

Man we are having a whole house full over for New Year's Day. The old tradition saids, 'If you eat prickled heirring on New Year's Day you will be prosperous all year long."
So we will have some of that yucky ****. But we wil also have the ham dinner. The whole dang family will be here! :D :D

Morning meal will be smoked jowl, black eyed peas and cabage. middle meal will be beer for me pbj for kids. mid afternoon meal will consist of crisp salad greens, hand cut beef tenderloin fillets, steamed veggies and garlic/horseradish mashed taters. Looking foreword to preparing the feast. wish everyone the best in 07 !!!

Collard greens, black-eyed peas and cornbread here. My mom cooks over at her house and most of the family shows up. I once told my mom that I didn't think her tradition of eating collards to have green money and the peas to have change in your pocket was working too well cause we were broke most of the time. She replied, "Just think were we'd be if we weren't eating collards and black-eyed peas every year".

pork roast and sourkraut has been mom's tradition forever. i think its a german thing.

Well, I did post pics of the lobster dinner last year. I can't remember whether they were my first pics or not.They were. I remember because they were sized super huge and the lobsters looked like giant hellsent fury. They were sea monsters for sure. I had trouble sleeping that night.:D

Thats probably union, pickeld herring is what we eat as well, and ^^oliebollen^^ or the Dutch doughnut, and lots of food with spices that traditinal came from the EAST in the old days .

Chicken and dumplings with mashed potatoes and green beans...this will be for New Years Eve, New Years Day I'll most likley be sleeping it all off .

Gald to see whats the norm for new years in different places around the world. Would be boring if we were all the same, really. Happy New Years to all of you from my family here. :D
