Has anyone used this unit? I got it given to me. It is an older one, has a 1/3 hp hermatic compressor in it and weighs a ton. I need to get a schematic of the wiring and piping. It runs ok,but when hooked up to recover refrigerant it is very slow. Solenoids keep clicking between vapor and liquid.

The old recovery machines with a hermetic compressor in them are more trouble than they are worth, and with that size compressor will be very slow compared to newer machines with oilless pumps.

I'm not looking to use it for daily use. Just like to restore old stuff.

Not the greatest pic, but this is a Rigid RS-200 that I've had since 1993. I think it's basically the same rig as the Copeland as both were made by Emerson using a Copeland compressor and Alco valves. I've got the manual at the shop. I'll scan the diagrams and post them........if I can get the scanner working. ;)
