Hello All,

I'm looking fore help understanding the Remote Sensore capabilities of the Ruud Modulating Thermostat System. The installer I am leaning towards has not done the remote part of this but we are both assuming it is relatively easy.

Can somebody tell me the part numbers for:
Modulating Programmable Thermostat
Remote Sensor
Anything else I need to make the remote work?

I am looking to sense temperature on second floor of Center Hall Coloneal home in New Jersey. It's a single zone system so we are going with modulation ruud/rheem to **hopefully** get the some of the cold/hot spots taken care of.

Thanks,

I had a Ruud modulating furnace installed a couple of days ago. I have the new touch screen modulating thermostat, but don't have a remote sensor.

The part number for the thermostat is UHC-TST401MDMS
I'm not sure about the part number for the remote sensor is. The spec sheet listed on this page (http://www.ruudac.com/products/ProductInfo.aspx?XSL_File=ruudac_product_profile.x sl&Market=Residential&SectionVar=Heating&Category=Gas%20Furnaces&SpecificModel=UGFD) shows the following on page 6:

*PROGRAMMABLE THERMOSTAT ACCESSORIES:
Adapter Plate = FG61-2600
Remote F1451328 and F1451378 Sensor
*NON PROGRAMMABLE THERMOSTAT ACCESSORIES:
Adapter Plate = 41-25300-01
Remote Indoor Sensor = 41-25300-02
Remote Outdoor Sensor = 41-25300-03

The thermostat is made by White Rogers and there's a pdf of the installation instructions here (http://white-rodgers.com/wrdhom/pdfs/instruction_sheets/0037-6753.pdf). The stuff for setting up the remote sensor is on page 10.

How do you like it? What others did you consider? Sales guy says it will stay on most of the time but whisper quiet so you won't know it's on. Is this what you see?

Thanks for the links.
