can someone explain the pro's and con's of a slope coil versus the standard a-coil?

I don't think there really is a "pro vs con" considderation between the 2 other than a slant coil costing slightly less to manufacture and unit size considderations.
I think the main reason slant coils are not used much anymore is that an A coil can fit in a smaller space. As higher efficiencies push coil sizes up, slant coils become impractical.
