1. Check and make sure the Q/A in the programming is answered to have a W/C adjust.
2. If the W/C is only unreliable at high or low end calibrate resistance. The W/C adjust is a 0-1660 ohm by default but the actual stat you have could be a little different.

A little troubleshooting trick I like to use to help isolate problems ...
Grab a known good network cable and a known good stat, and use that to plug in right at the controller.

It would help to reconnect the phone jack. OOPPS. It was the last thing I did on Friday and forgot to plug it back in after I had crimped the connector. I didn't check it at the work station until today and I had ???? marks on the room temperature as well. Plugged it in and all is well. Thats the second time I've had problems with bad crimps (by others). Thanks for the input.

They have these new Cat 5 connectors that have an EZ designation. They allow you to extend the wires through and avoid problems. Straight up I wouldn't use anything else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
