Life is to short to wake up and hate what you do. Just like it pisses techs of to lie, it also pissed me off when my competiton does.
It drives me nuts when I hear that a competitor wants to sell some one a new unit, beacuse the contactor is not working or becuase of a small leak.
This type of behavior gives us all a bad name. I like to sleep at night and not worry that I'm going to end up on the news or be reported to the BBB becuase I tried to make a fast buck.
As a rule we fire 15% of our new clients each year, if they will n not let us do the right job. Meaning just through a patch on it.
So for all the techs that complain that their boss has no morals, I would say get out becuase as an employeer I weary
of a tech who spent to much time in the slimmy shops and I know that I'm not alone.
