Education and informal structure of field

I am 4 classes away from graduating from college with liberal arts degree.

I completed a trade school that has pretty poor reputation.

I was wondering If I graduated from college and took some auto cad courses could I have a mid level office job or is auto cad really a program expected for a engineering graduate.


I can see not being a college graduate and not having experience and ref. and coming from a horrible trade school leaves me on the level of a landscaper who they hire to be laborer. ( That isnt ment as rude statement but a fact that I have seen company to company at least all over the nyc long island area)


I didnÕt mean the last statement as anything racist to immigrants or Hispanic I am Hispanic.

I expect that education and competency exp and stuff like that gets u a job but some how it seems this business is soooo informal and anyone can be doing anything depending on how they get along with owners or if your related or country man to guy in charge.

Is a liberal arts degree with auto cad courses and not really exp and dues paid going to get me anything?
