I recently had a 4 zone Infinity system installed in my home with 1 user interface and 3 smart sensors. The zone with the user interface was always significantly colder than the other zones (in heating and cooling) even with all the zone's setpoints set to the same temp. I finally bought a digital thermometer and did some measuring. All the smart sensors showed the same temp as the digital thermometer but the user interface showed a temp that was 3 degrees higher than the digital thermometer. I adjusted the temp offset on the user interface and it seems to work much better now.
Is this typical? 3 degrees seems like a lot to be off from the user interface to the smart sensors. Should I request that a new user interface be installed?
