my boss just hooked up with honeywell as their newest rep in our area. i guess it wasn't just signing a contract he had to go through a whole interview type process. it is just the two of us as far as service techs and i am very limited as far as controll work. we have some larger projects coming up and we are installing honeywell controlls. we also have alot of traing classes with hw coming up after the new year and i would like to know if anyone can help me with some literature that could be helpfull in my quest to pursue controll work. (i'm talking basic stuff just so i don't go into this too blind!) thanks

Ask for a Tradeline catalog which will at least show you all the hardware. You can also look around the web site at http://customer.honeywell.com for literature, software downloads, training, etc. Code is correct, the system you're working on makes a big difference.

Well what kind of Honeywell systems are you going to be doing? XL5000, Lonspec, Webs?
I hope the Honeywell training that you are going to recieve is from Vern Peterson of MOV Training. If not, here is a link http://www.xl5000training.com This will be your best source for training on Lonspec, Care ande XL5000 systems.
