I inspected a system for the potential buyer of this home. Went out to check the panel and found this. Look closely.

I immediately noticed the top left breaker was oversized, took a pic and closed it up. Not until I uploaded it, did I see this other one. Duh.

All are hooked up as double pole. Top left is 40a w/ #10 wire, but middle right is 80a w/ #12 wire. God only knows what else is going on in this place.

There are two wires on that breaker. But what's with all of the double pole breakers and the white wires and incorrect wire size?

I'd say call an electrician before they sign.

WTF is the panel doing on the outside of the house?????

At least half around here are outside. With our stupid rule that the meter can has to be Landis-Geyer, it is cheaper to use a combo than a main disconnect and a panel inside.

Who runs the service calls when it's raining?

Most homes in this area use this setup: Meter w/panel outside, one breaker or more feeds load center on inside.
Most double pole circuits come from outside panel. No single pole breakers allowed in outdoor panel.

Whoever they call.
Here the entire panel is allowed outside. It is a ***** for the homeowner to go outside whenever they trip a breaker.
