lennox G20Q3E-75-2 gas furnace

this is probably a 15-20 year old unit. the fan works fine. when i turn on the heat the unit does absolutely nothing. doesn't try to light or anything. there is a door\panel that opens up when the unit is trying to light and that won't even open. its like it has no power, but i know it does. any suggestions. thanks

Too vague, not enough details. Better call a technician.

I agree. Check the things that a homeowner can, such as tripped breaker, blown fuse. After that, leave it to a qualified technician. All the best.
