My son and his wife have a new baby; temps are dipping to 30's; two servicemen are unable to figure wiring for their Intertherm MGHB056ABFC-06 gas furnace b/c there is no schematic for the unit. Does anyone have a schematic for this furnace or can you tell us where we could find one? I know it's the weekend but if we could get a copy of wiring, I think we could get one of the servicemen back. Thanks.

Is the furnace for a mobile home?

What is the unit doing or not doing?

Is it getting power?

Did they pay their gas bill?

There should be something glued on front of the control panel cover or maybe on the back side of the cover.

2 servicemen couldn't figure out the wiring on a intertherm gas furnace???.....you don't need a schematic...you need to find a compentant "service man"

and get the kids some heat going

frigertater is correct. A service technician worth his or her salt should be able to find and fix the problem without the diagram. These Intertherm units are pretty basic.

I agree with Norm, and fridg.... I had one in my home, a very simple equipement. A couple of relays, and ignitor control.

I hate to say it but it is rare to find a real sharp technician who chooses to make mobile home service his or her primary career specialty.

When they get real good at mobile home heating and cooling they tend to move on to more complex and challenging equipment where they are paid more and get more personal satisfaction.

Yes, this is for a double wide mobile home.
Propane is the source of fuel and the tank is full and valve is on! Bills are ALL PAID. So, furnace lights, power is on however the fan doesnt' kick on soon enough and does not run long enough to blow all the warm air out of the duct work. Whoever put the furnace in did a jack leg job. Some wires were spliced and put back together and the technician needs a schematic to check the wiring to see which temp relay is for heat and which is for air and to verify the correct wiring on the whole electrical board and relays. Thanks and would certainly appreciate a schematic if you have access to one.

Mayguy--this was a used mobile home and we did check the cover for the schematic and it wasn't there. As far as technicians go, we're having difficulty getting someone to work period. The last guy we got was recommended by our propane company. He says he can fix it with a schematic? I don't know but I'm trying to get what he is asking for. As far as the kids, they may be back in with us if we can't get this solved soon b/c of the weather. Thanks for your suggestions Mayguy.

You guys are looking at the control cover inside the furnace itself, not the cabinet doors? All the one I've came across are all glued to that 8 by 6 cover, or inside of that cover... Maybe look on the blower housing itself??

I tried to look all over, and I can not find anything on line, so you or service company will have to contact Intertherm for one.

Mayguy--We appreciate your looking on the internet too. I will have my husband look on the blower housing for a schematic. Perhaps I can call the company tomorrow to see if they will send one. Again, thanks for your help.

Just a note to let you know that Nordyne sent the schematic by email; thanks for their number. The serviceman was able to fix the furnace with the schematic; there were 3-4 wires mixed up from whoever installed the system before.
