Currently working on a Carrier Forced Draft Gas furnace
( mid 1980's model ) on the intergrated control board am getting fault codes ( fault code legend is missing ) get 3
fast flashes and 4 slow flashes.
Are the Carrier fault codes standardized?
Does anyone know what these codes are telling me?
Where can I get the legend ?
Thanks in advance for any and all replies !!

You got it! If you are not a professional, then please call one to have your system checked.

Been working in the HVAC industry for the past 5 yrs.
Thanks for the fax, and you are probably right on the code 34. when the furnace fires it will burn for about 15 sec. and then flame out and then go through the start up again.
Another contractor ( that has kind of a shady reputation) was called out first. When I arrived I found the inducer motor unplugged and the ground disconnected and the pressure switch vacuum tubing also disconnected.
The flame sensor may be dirty or the ground not connected or dirty.
Once again: THANKS FOR THE FAX !!!

If you are still here.
I found a neat program that converts any document into a
(.pdf ) that is free.
All you need is a scanner and you can send any document to any one that has e-mail.
If you are interested you can go to http://www.snapfiles.com
and search the freeware section and download the program scan2pdf
It is a very small program, and is very, very easy to use.
