inducer motor

our inducer motor burnt up. our unit is approx 15yrs.old. our service repairman said this is not uncommon. is this true? what i am really confused about is that he said it would take approx a week to get a new one shipped in!! is this common on shipping??? ***deleted question***

yes common on 15 yr unit
a week, could be depending on the area you are in
