I replaced this fan 3 years ago. It is now just humming but will not kick on. Should I replace the fan?

Could be a couple of different things wrong. You can replace the fan again but if that's not the problem......cheaper to call for service in this case.

If you are talking about the outdoor fan motor, and it is a 4 or 5 ton XE900 with a 1/4 hp 825 RPM motor, get an OEM motor for it.
The typical universal type 1/4 hp 825 RPM motor is lower amperage and has a shorter winding stack than the OEM motor, and won't last very long.
