To "wiggle out" of something you first have to plan on doing it. :D
One of these days I hope to make one, how's that??

We can talk about it though.
Scott quit smoking and was interviewing for and inspectors job........no, not inspector gadget.
He is probably in the fetal postion, on the floor trying to untie his shoes right now.
Poor guy.

How can he be in Winston-Salem applying for an inspectors job and not smoke? "Non-smokers need not apply."
Isn't that like Billy Graham applying for the Pope's job.

Scott will have to change his name. How can he be "Selfemployed" if he has a "Job"?
He won't get it anyways. Scotts to nice and level headed to be an inspector. At least around here, all inspectors are ex-contractors who couldn't make it in the field, and they have a chip on their shoulders [aka Their *******s]. Scott doesn't fit either profile......

Won't know about the job till Dec. something. Yes I thought about having to change my name on here. The job can't be that tuff I mean your just dealing with contractors  I think it's a bunch of politics and BS to be honest. All I'm after is the life time medical after 5 yrs. of service. Hell of a reason to take a job but thats what it comes down to. Liz can coach me on the politics and BS she does that for a living where she works. Yea I know she is better looking and talks nicer than me too. Well maybe I'll turn them down if they offer it to me.
The guy that interviewed me asked if I had my 2006 code books yet. I said no. He said that suprised him about me. Hell the books just came out, WTF kind of trap was that. Being honest does pay off.
Lusker - thanks for the 07' space early. Now they will pester the sh** out of me. By 07' there won't be anything left of me :D

stayed on them for 2 weeks and got off. Its going to be a long road but my cough is gone and I only freak out 5 times a day now. Just like drinking and drugs, need to leave them alone before they take me from everything.

Every time that you are going to freak out just eat a meatball and cheese submarine sandwich. Then in a couple of months when you can't touch your toes, you'll have something else to give up.:D
A lot of us know how hard it is to give up smoking so I give you a lot of credit. Good Luck.

But I got up after 2 months and put a patch back on. It seems this is going to be worse than stopping drinking. Just trying to be on the up and up about this. Hope the folks that quit for the New Years or shortly after are doing well with it. Haven't seen anything posted about how it goes with them though.

Screw the patch, you sissy. Cold turkey is the only way to be real about quitting. It took me 4 years of wanting to quit and I finally beat it by just quitting mid pack. I was a three pack a day smoker for over a dozen years when I quit. Yes; it was difficult.
Had I not quit smoking when I did I would have never survived my heart attack 24 years later.
