i have a 3 ton a/c with a 4 ton coil. will that hurt anything?

Reduces humidity removal but it may be what the manufacturer called for to get the rated efficiency. Hopefully the installer put in the right piston.

I had some work done earlier this year on my HVAC and the service man told me I had a 3.5 ton ac compressor and a 4 ton coil.
He said that this improved the humidity removal.
Looks like I was given bad information again.
