Did a bit with their DDC in the past until they realigned territories, still use quite a bit of their pneumatic controls and electric / pneumatic valves.

I have the same problems they reliagned territories and created me problems. Since I wasn't their "dealer" and they changed dealers I now have a supply problem. Well it really isn't a problem if you want to go to a class to learn how to use software that you have been using for the past 8 or 9 years. And want to pay about 600% more for the same software and materials. I can't even get them to return my calls. I suppose they are way to busy to deal with us little people anymore. I suppose the only way to handle it is to tell my customers that they no longer support their product and that they will have to have a new control system installed. Kind of a shame.

I have heard that Honeywell now owns them.

I hadn't heard that honeywell owns them but I know they have changed their attutitude about customers and customer service. I understand territories but there should be some provisions about keeping their past customers. Unless things change I will not have a choice but to change every system out to something else because they will not take my customers easily. Going to be a lot of ticked off people to.

I could be wrong, but I thought that Reliable controls stuff recognized and could program/configure the multinet style of controllers from KMC.
I also thought thay are working on new drivers that could recognize the new KMC controllers (black box style).
You could give that a shot.

good luck.

Reliable will work for the old controllers but not for the new stuff. They will communicate and work fine together as long as they are not the black box style. I have used Reliable on some of the older systems but still have a problem with the new stuff.

Well I see you work for Honeywell so I won't argue, I was just going off of what another Honeywell employee told me.

No KMC isn't owned by Honeywell they are a customer of ours as are many HVAC companies. Perhaps if Mr. Pippin would contact somebody in Customer Service or Technical Support we would be able to understand the issues and assist you.

Mr Pippin tried to talk to someone in customer service and higher up the ladder than that. I recieved an initial return call from one of your VP's who was going to look into things but have left at least 6-7 messages with his voicemail since that time and he will not return anymore calls. I will be glad to talk to someone who works for KMC if they will actually try to help instead of providing meainingless lip service.

Your comments do not seem to be about KMC, but your supplier. KMC products and service is great!!!!

I don't recall saying I had a problem with the products. I said it was a supply issue, but if KMC won't address the supply issue then it reverts to a problem with KMC also, or am I looking at this wrong? The products have been good as with all products there have been problems but overall a good product.
