Is Staples a success story? They are still closing stores. Just announced another 60 closing. Its stock value is in the tank. Dominoes is finally attempting a comback after almost failing.
Don't worry, whoever gets elected president will get a fair opportunity ot waste Millions. Always remember, Congress controls the money not the president. Despite the expectations we place on the position, it's not a dictatorship. We try hard to make it one by placing nearly all emphasis on that one position. Human nature I suppose. Harder to blame a large body of elected representatives. Easier to blame the guy standing up on the TV.

So, we are actually celebrating the destruction of small business due to excessive government regulation, enabling only large corporations to survive. I don't see a single business on that list that is not a succsess only because of it's size, which allows it to more easily comply with government regulations. How long is going to take the right to see that they are exactly the same as the left, surviving at the government trough. Using government to prop up business is no better then using government to buy votes, with social programs.

Might not want to use it as a huge source of jobs, if they are closing down their retail locations.
It looks like Staples with there Internet sales might be propping up the Post Office. LOL

The overwhelming majority of the 53% without a full-time job are collecting some form(s) of govt benefits (Soc Sec, Medicare, SSDI, food stamps, UI, etc. If we say that 80% (just a guess) of them are collecting benefits, then 47% of the people are working and paying for the benefits of about 42%. That means each working person is being asked to cover the costs of almost 0.9 people collecting benefits. Even if you assume the % collecting benefits is only 60%, then 47% are paying for 32%. Each working person is still being asked to cover the costs of almost 0.7. Is it any wonder we have $1+ trillion budget deficit? Add Obamacare and all the people (citizens and other) that will get new or added benefits and it gets even worse.
Mathematical calculations do not lie. This is the state of affairs that we live with currently and it will continue.
You can put up all the posters and billboards you like, they will be forgotten in a short time span.
Without plans for long term growth and the end of Ben's easy money programs, the best way to discribe the future would be Up S**ts Creek without a paddle.
