This message is directed to fellow York techs. Do you guys in your respective offices, have to fax paperwork everynight? Also do you have to call in every evening and let the office know where and what your planning on doing the next day...week?

I work in the rebuild shop the only paperwork I need to do is about a half hour after lunch

But YDA gets 2 hrs a day to do his paper/voice portal !!

WE do as we want here, no one knows what we do so we run the show (for now) . profits are up ,customers are happier, and so are the bean counters BUT! JCI will probaly screw this up also. just my $.02.

DId you guys gtet the brochure about the new uniforms and the customer surveys yet.

Yup got mine 10-20 said orders for uniforms had to be in by 10-20 . They probably want me to pay for them myself since I already used the $200. allowance on uniforms that didn't fit .

Do you see how they are pushing the york name aside and putting the johnson on front. I don't want anything that says JCI on my uniform. Tell you the truth I don't like it on my pay stub. They want us to be happy with a little patch with factory service on the arm. want be long till you see the new JCI chiilers.

it really is dissapointing most people i have met at the factory and in michigan at the ua school used to be happy about working for york but not now it seems jci does not have any idea of what it takes to run this business the morale is down in our office we have york techs that has ben around for 16-33 years and the jci guys are lucky to be there for 3-5.if the york guys have to start running truck based service like we are hearing we will probaly lose a lot of guys we have already lost 7 guys it used to mean somethingh to say you worked for the york factory jci seems to be taking that away.

Yep, I got the leaflet in the mail today to, 10/23...Request for uniforms due by 10/20. <--- Imagine that...I agree, big blue uniforms today with just a hint of the York name on the sleeve....big blue logo on the chiller panels tommorrow. I wonder how soon carribean blue will be replaced with big blue?

Tell me about the $200.00 uniform exspense. Thats a new one to me. Must be hidden deep in a page of the handbook for the recently employed I havent found or read.
