Would anybody have any wiring info on a Statitrol Air duct smoke detector made by a division of Emerson Electric-Model #501K2? I have an existing one to tie a RTU into and of course-no diagram-with twenty plus terminal strip. Any info greatly appreciated. Emerson was of no help except to say they sold this division to Amway of Michigan. You can imagine what a search of that name came up with. THANKS

I dont have any wiring diagrams, but these are normally simple to install. Post any info on what each terminal is and I could tell how to wire it. Is this pre exsiting? You could always get a new one, that has instructions in it. If was exsisting and you want to reuse it, how many wires did you have to, and what voltage.

Thanks Weber for asking about my question. We solved the problem. This style detector has been obsolete for many years and had about 5 interlocked devices to it in addition to existing alarm wiring from the building system. Didn't want to mess with it if we didn't have to, as access was very difficult, but we got it.
