Getting your sinus' popped?

Ok, for the last year or so I've had a stuffy nose. It's kind of always been that way, I guess I just never really noticed until recently.

At best, my nose is probably 40% open (at worst, often 100% blocked). I've tried allergy pills, they dont do much. Nasal spray does clear them up VERY nice... but I know that's a temporary fix.

I know the best thing to do would be see a Dr, but a couple guys I've talked to said that a chiropractor can pop your sinus's and sometimes that'll be enough of a cure to get you buy, might even cure the problem for a good while. For reasons I'm not sure of, I've always wanted to go to a chiropractor and let them align me, I figured why not let them try this sinus thing too... if it doesn't work the worst case is I'll have to go back to the doc anyway.

So... whats it like fella's?

I had it done. They like do the "Himlik Manuver" to your face, then shop vac out the loose stuff, then its all pop cycle sticks, and dental picks. Once it's open they stint it with 1/4" pex. Now I can snort anything.

My sinuses bother me real bad too but man that sounds painful.

I've had my sinuses relieved through massage. You'll need use a real massage clinic. Not some rub and tug pervert joint. ;)

Wax job: rub & tug gets ya to the point of orgasm and "caps" you off. Doesn't do anything for ya sexually but it sure as heck cleans the wax out of yer ears! ;)

If i have blocked sinussessess, i flush with salted lukewarm water.
I pore some of that water into my hand and take a DEEP inhale, and keep on inhaling it so it is in the big nose all the time.
After 20 sec or so i putt my head down and let the water flow[ so to speak ] in to the blocked area.

I learned this trick during a diving course.
