Hey, my house is sized right! 1000 sq ft / 1.25 = 800 CFM and I have a 2 ton! Of course I can keep it 68° in at 90+ out so technically I'm about 1/2 ton oversized.

Around here, the average 2500 sq ft home would have a 3 ton. This formula says 5 ton. So we could sell people 5 tons and a whole house dehumidifier and make a fortune. :D :(
