There was a picture of a gas station posting fuel prices. Regular unleaded $1.99, Plus $2.09 then kerosene $2.69. Question is, Who uses kerosene anymore? Especially in mass quantities enough to be posted at a gas station?

To my knowledge there's only one station that has a pump for kerocene around here. For what it's worth it's also at the big oil station where you can buy several kinds of fuels by the barrel and where a lot of fleets fill up.
Other than space heaters I have no clue why you'd need that much. I guess you could run a diesel truck off of it, but I think (not sure) that diesel is cheaper anyway, not to mention it'd be illegal to drive said truck on the roads with out paying the road tax.

K-1 Kerosene happens to be the stuff advertised as fuel injector/carb cleaner-just add a pint to the tank when you fill up and it'll clean up the ol 4 wheeler real nice and no harm done !!! kerosene can be burned in diesels just happpens to be a cleaner, more refined grade of diesel :D

Had one customer wanted to run their oil furnace off kero.
I'm sure some people use kero heaters to heat homes with rather than fix central heat.
