We had to install a dishwasher for a older man. He wanted me to do something so his maid could understand how to use it.
So what I did was got these yellow neon circle stickers. Put one on the normal button and marked it #1, the other on the start button and marked it #2. I thought this was a good idea especially for the older people who can't see well or just don't understand the new technology.
Well then later on today I had to go by this old man that we installed a micro hood for last week because he couldn't understand how to use it "after showing him 10 times when I installed it".
Now this man is real funny. He had a stroke a few years back and the only thing he can say is G D. I get so tickled when he gets mad when no one can understand him. He starts going "Beeeeee G D, G D, GD, GD, GD, GD.". You do know that this is abbreviated. Every time he comes into the store mom can't understand him so she gets me to talk to him. The only thing he can do is point and mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. But working for him for so long I know his sign language.
Anyway I went to his house and put stickers on his micro hood to show him what was cook, start, and cancel. He was most thankful.
I will have to put him on my list for baked goods around Xmas time.

I have never had to go back on a Vision Pro thermostat and re-train anyone on how to use it. I used to not even sell programmable because I got tired of re-showing customers how to program them. [Chronotherm, etc]
