Best book for a HVAC seasoned technician who is becoming reacquainted with electricity and wiring?

Also any great suggestions on some must have books on HVAC for an HVAC apprentice who has been in the field 4-6 months.

I know this isn't necessarily the best place to post, but it seems to get a high level of traffic.

Reaquainted? 70% of service calls are electrical in nature.
All I can say for both your questions is learn to read wiring diagrams. They tell the whole story

Nec code book? 2 parts in my opinion for hvac electrical. There is the regular electric hook ups 120v, 240v 3 phase ect. Then there is low voltage/ controls where most electricians have trouble with.

2sac is right.

When you work on a unit
Snap a pic of the wiring diagram on your phone.

Older units are better.

As far as books go.

RSES books are excellent

Are you an rses member?

Anyone can join.

Benefits? Well, access to educational materials is one.

When you have "pro" status here on this site, you have access to our educational forums, and there is electrical info there, too.

Thanks for the tip. I recently started HVAC school and just found it on Amazon.com, used in "good condition" for $5.00, $3.99 s&h. Also looking at RSES. $51.50 for student membership. Is it worth the money? Will it benefit my career?
