I am in HVAC Sales, met a Real Estate Agent, she asks if I ever thought about getting in that line of work. I said yeah, wasn't sure how to go about it. After a few meetings, she offers to pay for me to get my license if I agree to work for her part time for 2 years. I just passed my Texas Real Estate Sales Agent exam. About to embark on a "side" career. If it turns about to be better than HVAC sales, may make it full time. Anyone have experience or knowledge about the field??

sounds like she will want you to try selling real estate while your on bids for hvac. I had an electrician I had to pretty much fire being he was trying to high pressure selling Amway to my customers when he was wiring a/c's for me.

Boy did I get a lot of complaining from customers.

I thinks its like anything. The car lots try to hire people so they sell to all their friends. Once they have run out of friends to sell to .....their pretty much history.

who knows it may work, but from what you hear about real estate lately. It may not be the time to start that.
