Anyone found any not so obvious examples of products being downsized?

Although I hate eating there. MacDonald's has obviously shrunk their product while maintaining price.

Now I discover my brand of TP has taken a hit.

There is some other interesting stuff on that page.

Just about everything is being downsized, except my company, hard to downsize it unless I fire myself, which I am considering.

Seems to me if you are eating less at McDonalds then you won't be pooping as much. Ergo, you will need less TP.

A ten pound bag of ice has been only eight for several years.

Yesterday, I saw a seven pound bag at a C-store.

Same price.

I'd fire myself but then I am afraid I would sue me.

So many things are being cheapened and reduced in size, I have seen it for years. They think no one notices gradual changes.
Small things but they all ad up.
Sad.

Its' all around us!

What appears to be a one pound can of Maxwell House coffee, not anymore, 13oz.

Kingsford charcoal, that 20 lb. bag you bought all your life, nope, not anymore 18 lb.

Hell, I think the refrigerant manufacturers were in on the ground floor with the blends....they look like 30's, but not so fast......:D

You should move there. Open up a nice pizza joint. Tell them you hate America and you were once a Internet troll back there.

The precursor to product shrinkage is the %free campaign. They start by advertising "20% extra" free you buy X amount and get X% free on the product then boing a few months later the adverts fade away and out comes the new and improved smaller product at the same old or higher price sometimes to mix it up a little they offer a new and improved product with 20% extra for free.

It all started with your crazy 9/10 of a gallon pricing its the oil companys fault and the govt shoulda banned the 9/10 of a gallon pricing
