Well tomorrow is the big day. Fell off the ladder[two stories] two years ago, torn rotator cuff surgery[that didnt work], fractured pelvic, herniated disc[2]. w.c. quite paying me wc benefits last dec 05 when there doc said I was fine. My two back docs say back surgery, and another shoulder surgery, so finally arbitrator hearing and hopefully a good decision. Just burns my a%^$s that wc can do what they do, only because they can get away with it, thanks for letting me vent guys, Victor

WC is just like most other insurance companies... crooks. You can't go through life with out them, but when you need them, they'll do anything they can to get away with out helping you.

workers comp gets bonuses for screwing the workers they are supposed to take care of bastards without injured workrs they would be without jobs.

Yes I know there are people whom scam the system but there are many more out there getting scammed by workers comp. the y play the numbers game fight everyclaim screw everyone then pay out the ones whom really give em a fight but drag it out as long as you can. See if you can starve the punter and get him to cave and give in apply as much fininical pressure as possible that will get em back to work

they are another bunch sucking of the misery of the injured worker - leeches

auditor for my workers comp calls on cell phone. He tells me that he is at my place of businress to audit records for 2004. no letter, no appointment, I am not in office. I inform him that i am five states away in training. He informs me that he is here NOW to do the audit, otherwise I will be fined big dolllars. I give him the number for the accountant so they can work together. Did not hear from him for anothert eight months, all the sudden he wants to "settle" the audit. F ing jerk.

thanks guys good tohear your views, like I said, there beef is you had your first shoulder surgery not our problem its yours, with my back I was screwed up for the first 6mths between my pelvis and shoulder surgey, but I did complain to the chick [w.c.] about my back and also to the shoulder doctors, w.c. kept telling me will get back to you, they never did, got the attorney and all of a sudden W.C. never heard of a back complaint, so now they say hay, it took him 9mths to complain about his back, not our problem, couldnt have been that bad, even though I have mri's of the herniated disc in my back and neck, friken lizards! I pitty the poor workers who are in agonizing pain the hole time, and dont get any meds, because ,thats right, they also dont have to give you any medical attention or pain killers while they play there games! thanks again

I fell off a ladder 9 months ago, fractured my hip in a dozen places and complete tear of my rotator cuff. Really haven't had any problems with WC ins. Co. till it came time to do the shoulder surgery after I was back walking.
Fought me on that so I had to get an Attorney.
Now I need a second shoulder surgery because the first one didn't work. Waiting to see if they try to fight this one.

good luck rsmith, they will fight because they can, and in reality cant say as I blame them, there trying to screw you out of everything and here trying to get something, its busines, but it still sucks. They told me ,more or less, your first shoulder surgery was on me, you pay for the next one, its a big wait and see gme, only ones who make it are the ons who are finacially set up to fight the longest. good luck rsmith

I have never been on workers comp in my career. I have been lucky. But I have had to pay into it when I was a Business owner. It was on of the biggest business expences that I had. One of the reasons that I had to close up shop. I have heard nothing but nightmares about it from guys that I know that have been on it.

Something has to be done about the whole insurance industry, both workers comp, and private medical insurance.I don't know what, I have no answers. People can't get good insurance, and the cost is killing small business.

It sure is. I am considering dropping WC on me. It is ridiculous. But my wife tells me I am too accident prone.

Get a Lawyer, the biggest mistake I made was not having a lawyer early on.

the original intention was to provide "no fault insurance" at a reasonable cost to both the employer and the employee. To provide medical treatment and salary compensation to injured workers, in return the worker waives the right to sue his employer for the work place injury

fast forward to today and the original intent has been lost now its fighting tooth and nail to have a claim reconigsed and honored.
fackers the workers comp I'll bet is consuming more than 75% in adminstration fees due to their over inflated buraccurcy and thats why they have to screw ya on the claims so they can keep as big as a admin as they can to justify their existance

they are the bigest leeches

BTW you have 2 yrs to get your injury sorted out here in canada if you let it go past two yrs then your out of luck bettter check and see if its the same in the us boys!
