I just bought a new toshiba tablet pc, goin' wireless/paperless. Anyway, I signed up with Verizon wireless broadband access and am generally pleased with it, except sometimes the pictures displayed are blurry. Sometimes, on the same website, there will be pics that are super sharp, then others come up blurry. There really is no rhyme or reason to what comes up good and what comes up blurry. I'm using internet explorer and never had this problem before on my other toshiba with comcast cable modem.
Anybody out there point me in the right direction to fix this?
I set the screen resolution on the toshiba control panel, to the best, forgot what it was. But I'm thinkin' this is some kind of int. exp. thing.
Thanks is advance for your consideration!

Making sure you have the latest video drivers installed would be my 1st move.

that's exactly why I always wear a tin foil hat
Toshiba laptops have a piece of software installed called Venturi Client. This software is installed by Toshiba before you purchase it and is set up to run automatically.
Venturi Client runs in the background to speed up your internet access by reducing the amount of data you download to display the info faster such as pictures and backgrounds on websites.
Toshiba is not the only one that uses such a software. Just about any ISP that gives or sells you a speed enhancer uses this technology. It doesn't speed up your connection, just reduces the bits you download.
I have a great little Toshiba tablet notebook that had the same problem as you are experiencing now. I turned off the Venturi client and my screen and downloads are just as clean and clear as any of my servers or workstations. There is very little difference in my download speed and by the way... I use Verizon EVDO wireless card too.
Hope this helps

Sheit, I know I'm goin' blind 'cause of the blurry pics!
I turned off the venturi stuff, didn't really help the pics, but slowed everything down sumpthin' awful, turned it back on.
No glasses, LasikPlus, got me 20/15 eyeballs now.
Quit drinkin????? I saw a line in the paper yesterday:
"Honey, I don't drink too much, you ain't drinkin' enough"
Still adjusting the tin hat, tho..
Hummmmm
There was no speed change on mine but it let me see web sites in normal colors and clariity.
It may be in your config somewhere. May want to ask Toshiba
