Hey Gents
New at this so be patient, I build custom exhibit truck trailers and usually use a couple 5 ton Bards on the front but now have to install all hvac in the belly box...have a 20 inch vertical "basement". I want to use a couple 2 ton Spacepaks and thinking to use a refrigeration style condensing units. I am wondering if a "high temp condensing unit" will have pressure/superheat issues as they are designed for cooler temps than comfort zones. I'm looking at a Climate Control model CHT020H2. Any suggestions on this combination or on condensing unit control options would be greatly appreciated!!
Huge thanks! -Jeff

I don't know where your from but there is no way that installing a refrigeration condensor for a comfort cooling system would pass inspection. I know other techs on here are going to have alot to say about this, I can't answer you, because I've never seen it done,I'm not saying it can't be done, it's just I don't think so. Why can't you just use a condesor that is spec'd out for that space. I'm sure your boys at BARD can set you up with something that would meet your off-the-wall needs..........sorry it took me 2 hours and 31 minutes to reply....lol saw your other post. oh and welcome

Thanks, This is a custom exhibit truck trailer so there is no inspection. I do however utilize all hvac and electrical code whenever possible (makes me unpopular sometimes as the no I won't do that "team player")
I was thinking to utilise as much prefabricated componentry as possible but I only have 20" to work with. This condensing unit already has all the safetys in place and is based on a 40 degree coil which I think will work with comfort temp settings???
