ComfortTech was a blast!
All of the unit brand names where present to show off their equipment, and answer "any" question that you could put to them, give you tons of free literature, and of course the trade show "trinkets" that they all passed out to you.
Also, all of the "side items" that go along with units, the distributors of software, flat rate, dispatching, etc, etc, controls, filters, air cleaners, copper, test equipment, etc, etc were also here to answer your questions, and give you tons of literature.
And the seminars that where set up coverered every topic you can imagine. Simply put, a multitude of information was present here for all of the attendees that covered everything in our business.
Everytime you turned around, the loudspeaker was announcing that someone else had just "won" another "prize".
Contracting Business, long with the major sponsers hosted lavish parties every night. (See the pictures in the other threads!)
Of course, I am forgetting more that happened here, or just did not have the time to attend them all or see it all as we all where just so busy singing up new members, "pro" members, over 400 in 3 days!
As for our site, H-Talk:
It was a pleasure to finally meet our new owners, Contracting Business. The editor, Mike, the e-media manager, John Z, and so many more that have nothing but our best interests at heart I can't remember them all.
Seeing and talking to them in person resures this memeber that H-Talk will be around for a long time, and only get better.
Many discussions where had with Contracting Business and your site admin and moderators/associates these last few days.
Take my word for it, H-Talk "is" only going to get better.
Changes are eventually coming, but it takes time.
A new forum thread will be up on the site in the coming weeks to let the members know of what is happening and the future happenings on our site.
To say the least, I am re-assured with the direction and the people that now own the interents' best HVAC talk site on the internet.
