Ummmmmm, NO. In fact, we southerners are not nearly as easy to manipulate as liberal democrats would like us to be.
Look at the election graphs that have plotted the historical fact of voter preference in the south for the last 15 years and you will understand the trend.
People in the south have become quite wary of liberal democrats and they are still smarting from the Carter and Clinton debacles.
