I was trying to estimate the energy and cost savings possible by increasing the thermostat temperature set point by 1 degree C. Could you please advise me how I could estimate this. This is for a small office building using chilled water from a centralised chiller plant.
Thanks

Rule of thumb by setting thermostat to 75 deg F or higher:
You save 1% energy for every 1 deg F increase in thermostat setting.

That rule of thumb won't be true for his system?

Can't. Not experienced with chillers. Seems logical tho.
'Tis why I used the (?).

I do not have any formulas but I think it would be more than 1 percent. How much less moisture are you going to be removing & will this be acceptable? How much less latent heat will you be dealing with?Warming the space temperature deals with more than just sensible heat.
