I think they are concerned with "doing the right thing". But that's like fighting a dirty war with white gloves.

Well, it's past time to take the gloves off. They should have come off Sept. 11, 2001. We have the ability to end this thing in about 3 weeks. International politics keep stand in the way.

Personally, I say to hell with politics...national and international.

Apologize to Billy? Not no, but HELL no. Osama wasn't at a funeral back then.

I recognize this posting style. It's not remember, it's the other guy who'd never finish a sentence.

What was your old name?

I can't see Dems doing ANYTHING against the taliban or bin laden without consulting the ACLU, league of human voters and Amnesty International. That being said, if anyone in the WH did stop this INCLUDING the president, they should be nixed. That goes double for anyone of the senate intelligence committee, G2, any Intel branch or Joint Chiefs. The "rules of engagement" should be immediately overhauled and rewritten quickly to be TOTALLY UNAMBIGUOUS and without prejudice and apology, and ANY dissenting Republicans or Democrats steamrolled, stripped of campaign funds, retirement and their names dragged through the mud. Anyone who gets in the way of fkilling the taliban or insurgents shopuld be blackballed. Any media personality who brings up a "human rights" challenge should have their network threatened with loss of license during wartime. I'd also like to see a DATE on this story. This is a lead article in today's NYPOST.

The "we're better than them" argument and political correctness flies no more. In fact it shouldn't have from day one. There's good guys and bad guys and it's just that simple.

Taliban. What Taliban?

Those are probably just some of Cheney's deadenders in their last throes.

Dear leader destroyed the Taliban years ago. He even made a big fuss about proclaiming their destruction.

Contradicting Dear Leader is unAmerican and proves you hate America.

Why do you people hate America?

He had the support of the entire world not to mention Congress.

The support for whatever it took to find and destroy the people who actually attacked the U.S. and those who harbored them was freely given.

Too bad Bush had ants in his pants to invade Iraq and pulled military and intelligence assets out of Afghanistan before the job was done.

Five years later?

Afghanistan is ruled by poppy warlords.

Karzai is the mayor of Kabul.

The Taliban is resurgent and more dangerous than ever.

OBL remains uncaptured.

Wow, glad we had Bush leading us to this glorious result.
