Rheem Furnace integrated circuit board

I am replacing a Rheem integrated control board that is toast. Do the replacement models pre 1994, all have to have an upgrade for the flame sensor kit ?

If it is using the HSI for flame sensing, you need the remote flame sensor kit.

If it has a remote flame sensor, you don't need the kit.
