What is the difference between a bypass valve and a solenoid valve?----is there a difference?

A solenoid valve is usually a electromagnetic valve that open or closes via a electric current, to start or stop the flow of a substance.
A bypass valve is a valve (usually manual) that is configured in such a manner that allows a compondent or system to be bypassed.
