brazing alluminum is hard, there is no doubt about it. Getting it hot enough to flow without blowing a hole in the alluminum is between a fine line and downright nill.

i and my father for 40 years has been tring to find a system or product that would be able to weld up holes in condenser or evaperator coil and have found Zero.
If you find a product that will let you weld up a alunium condenser coil with oil still in the system which is just about impossible to get the oil out. A brass band will jump out of my A** playing , who would have thought it !

as mentioned....there is no easy way to braze aluminum. I can weld fine with a mig welder, but brazing has not worked very well. I had a demo guy bring some rods made for this and he brazed a coke can with it...seemed Ok until you actually try this in the field...doesnt work with dirty coils and oil in them. No one that I have heard of has ever found any means that really works. The heat weakens the tubing also...another draw back of trying it.
