We have a 2 ton Lennox A/C going into a air handler. It keeps freezing up. The pressures are 220 on the high side and about 65 on the low side. We have changed air filter, cleaned indoor and outside coils. Both outside fan and indoor fans are running very well. The t-stat is set to 72 degrees. We thaw it out and let it run. After about a day or so it freezes up again. Any help would be appreciated.
The outdoor unit uses R-22 and is only about 2 or 3 years old.
Shut it down to prevent further damage, and call the installer back. Why do you have a set of gauges if you don't know how to interpret the readings?!
Pressures alone don't tell you very much.

Regardless of expertise this is NOT a DIY site.
DIY threads, questions and answers have a life of their own. What happens, if we post repair instructions that injures the person whom we thought was qualified?
We have Forum Rules (http://hvac-talk.com/vbb/showthread.php?threadid=1241) not to anger you, but because they are well thought tried and true.
We all want to help, but we just can't due to the difficulties of working on the other end of the computer and safety. If we tell you, we tell everyone once it’s posted. It’s here for all to read and try.
Thanks for looking at it from our point of view.
