Testo has a no manuals on their web site, it sucks. On their german site they have them, but you have to have a password and login.

Links for manuals are available at the site in english in adobe format at the bottom of the page for the invidual test equipment. There is no central page for manuals.

Sorry haven't been to their site in a while. They have revised their site and their section for manuals doesn't list any equipment.

I have the same unit, lost instructions... but figured it out today.
1.Power off by holding "down" arrow.
2.Power back on by pressing both arrows at same time and holding.
3.Display should show ºF symbol only, press down arrow to change to ºC within 5 seconds or so. Don't press anything else and it will resume regular operation in Celsius mode.

Now if I can only figure out how I set that damn alarm!!

Found the instructions in 6 languages, English 2nd page.

Also found another good testo link for proper use of infrared and emissivity of different materials. I will look for and post. Guess this unit has more features than I realized, the alarm can be set to beep on either over or undershoot + adjustable emissivity. Have you used the contact probe option? You will likely find more info by using "infrared" instead of "laser" in your search.
