My Fluke 902 temp function is driving me insane. I've been told on here that it is somewhat inferior. So, what are the top meters for taking temperature? Mainly air temperatures(outdoor ambient, return air, supply air). Durabity/reliability/accuracy is more important to me than price.
I like my Fluke 52 II.
Alittle pricey but the most accurate thermometer Ive ever owned.

+1 for the Fluke 52II + accessories.
Overpriced, but worth every penny.

Fluke 52II and the crazy expensive clamp probes.

I dont need the clamps. My drsa has temp probes. But theyre thermistors so ambient air reading takes forever. For that matter, I dont think I need a dual temp meter. Is there a single version of the same quality? Looks like fluke is the obvious favorite.

Off of the drsa? That would be VERY handy...
I still need one for checking temps in ducts. And I dont want to carry the gauges up in the attic... lol.

Fluke and all meters that do temperature will go off with a week battery. if the 9V dc go below 8.5V dc the temperature function go off temperature.
If the meter use a adapter with the meter to major temperature the meter and the adapter must be at the same temperature to work right. all way test with slush ice.
