At one time I had CCW for Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Florida and Texas. Not required in Vermont. Not travel New England much anymore, so I let most of them expire.

you know i am sure others are thinking it but when you show up and start drinking are you going to act like an a$$hole cause you have a gun?

i dont know you and mean no disrespect but the only people i know that flaunt that they have guns are cowards and the kids the got put in lockers in high school

now maybe you are the exception and i hope you are but for some reason the fact that you just cant keep from telling everyone that you have to carry a gun tells me that you are nit much different then the others i know

A concealed weapon should be just that. If I carried one, no-one would know. Ever. And carrying a firearm while drinking is a felony I believe. I don't know why, but this worries the crap out of me.

Dad bought a very nice Super Blackhawk .44 magnum.

He showed it to a buddy at the Colorado State Muzzleloading Championships. Guy says "Jim, you'd better file that front sight off". Why asks Dad?

As far as your training I am truly happy for you and have some time of my own in
I also believe in the right to carry
I also believe that a person who carries a gun should keep it out of sight and out of mind unless it is needed
If my attitude offends you I apologize however please do not change you plans on account of me
If we do not get along we simple will not socialize with each other, there will be many people there, and last year I liked everyone I met I hope the same goes for this year

I am not a hard guy to get along with, trust me and I do hope you attend I would like to meet as many people from the site as I can
But I still stand behind what I said before people who have to advertise they have a gun for the most part have issues that do not mix well with guns

Why not ask a few of the Leo’s you know and see what they say


And just for the record I never said anyone was an alcoholic I just said drinking cause as far as I could tell the majority of us were drinking last year and the majority will be drinking this year

Now with all that being said I hope to see you in Vermont it will be a lot of fun and there will be many very nice people to meet and in my case to see again
