We have a trane xt500c thermostat in our house and after the ac guys cut the breaker last month it just keeps cycling. It stays on for around 10 minutes then kicks off for 5 and says wait. Now it is even coming on when below temp. The dehumidifier is also not working the last couple of days. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

What do you mean by cut? Wire been cut? Breaker been turned off? Is this a new install? if so, I would call them back and double check the set up.

It's not a new install. The breaker was turned off while it was looked at. I asked the company who installed it and they said they would get back to me and would have to find paperwork. That was several days ago. The led light is lit red and they said might need new thermostat. I was wondering if maybe it's some type of factory settings.
Thanks

Call the service manager of the company that servived the unit when they turned off the breaker.

Sounds like they turned off breaker to air handler to keep heat strips from coming on..
"""Houston we have a problem"""
Call company back and tell them it is not fixed and to send a more qualfied technician to check out system.
