hello everyone,
while doing some research on recovery machines on the yellow jacket website, I saw thier XLS model which adds a subcooling function to thier XLT
recovery machine. I was currious to learn more but could not find any good info on the XLS unit. Using google i was able to find that the model R80A is similar. the XLS was released in spring of 2007 and is costlier than the XLT.
does anybody have experience with this recovery machine? do you recomend it? I am in the market for a recovery machine and loved using the XLT in class. thanks guys

Research the Appion G5 Twin.

I used that machine in the PDF once. It took something like 6 hours to get 10lbs. of R-22 out of a ice rink a/c unit.

We have a couple of the XLT units and work fine. The largest amounts I remove are 28 to 30 lbs of 404 or 22 from multitemp reefers and takes less than an hour to 10" vacuum. I have a couple of Thermoflo oz units that do have sub cooling and they really work well if you have high ambients as you can put a frost line on the recovery jug in 15 minutes. Can't help you with the Yellow Jacket one with sub cool but if it works like the Oz it is worth it.
