View Full Version : Milwaukee Band Saw
For you Milwaukee M12 fans. I picked up the new band saw. And wow.....it's very nice. Rips right through 1 1/4" copper. Definitely worth looking into.
Got it from Fergusen for $199, with a $50 Visa gift card.

I was looking at these at Dominion Electric the other day. 200 bucks with trade in of any cordless tool over 11 volts or something. That would keep my 4 inch in the truck most of the time for sure.

Now I'm glad I didn't splurge on the 18 V version. That size is about all I wanted to do with it anyway. Thanks!!!

Not to totally hijack your thread, but what do y'all use these things for?
I was working with our plumber the other day and we stopped at Ferguson and happened to look at these. Neither one of us could think of something we would need it for, where we wouldn't just grab a sawzall.
Some things I would use a bandsaw over a seawall is.....threaded rod, strut, copper/steel pipe, din rail track, electrical conduit.
It provides alot smoother cut and less vibration. If you never used a band saw, you're missing out.

It makes sense now why we couldn't come up with a use for one. We do residential and very light commercial. I can't remember ever needing to use any of those materials, haha.
