Now today oil is all about the worn out pipeline in Alaska. Got to shut it down. Will take 2 days and there will be a loss of 400,000 barrels per day. So does this mean BP is not taking the zillions of dollars and upgrading/replacing/reparing the infrasturcture?

Hot dang another gimmick to raise the price of fuel/energy. What a shame and what a sham.

Now some expert is prediciting 250 dollar per barrel oil.

Bush did it.
He probably bombed the pipeline just to raise oil prices.
Or maybe he used lasers to accelerate the pipe erosion and cause failure.
Either way I'm sure it was Bush's fault.

Or maybe it was sasquatch?!?

weeks or months is what the news said....

there is no conspiracy....its just the timing of the whole thing.......

100.00 a barrel is not far off....

15-20 cent a gallon increase is estimated....

glad I drive a truck home....

glad we live in a small town....

but prices of all goods will probably rise a little...better get those amazon orders in soon....planning any big purchases like food...lol

better do it now

the sky is falling.....lol

Bush conspiracy for sure. What else could it be?
Big business bumping up profit margins? Nah.
Opportunist oil companies seeing a chance and taking it?
Nah. Possibly a real mechanical problem that must be addressed? Impossible......
Has to be Bush and the right wing lug nuts.

I believe Pat Robertson also predicted this would happen.
God's wrath.

Well, I don't think they let Shrub handle anything having to do with the oil industry since he ran two oil businesses into the ground.

Kinda like the Rangers, Shrub's main duty there was to pick his nose during home games. They made sure he kept his hands out the cash register.

LOL! Yeah and Buck Showalter and all Texas baseball still posess the same ole' shoddy winning percentages, lack of success and no World Series rings with or without the nosepicker.
Guess nothing has changed since he left.

There are no guarantees in life. Anything mechanical & man-made can & will breakdown at some point. It's just a fact of life & a matter of time. Sheeesh! You'd think people would've figgered that out by now!

You're surprised?

Priceless.
Libs complaining about the shutdown.
Imagine if the pipe broke and an oil spill resulted.
They would cry about that.
Any excuse to cry.

Kinda like 9/11 and Iraq.

"He knew and didn't do anything!"
"OH MY GOD, HE DID SOMETHING!"
