Help I am desperate!!! My wife is 9 months pregnant and my AC keeps shutting off.

I had a company come to my house to fix it three times and its still not working. The first guy that came out said I was low on Freon and he cleaned the unit outside and put more freon in it (over 3lbs). Then it cooled my house but shortly after he left it got hot again.

I called the same company and a new guy came out. He looked at the unit outside and said its not getting a signal to turn on. He looked at my unit in the attic and he said the condensate drain was clogged. He used this thing that blew air into it and all this black stuff shot everywhere. Then he poured draino into it. He said that was making my float valve raise and therefore told the AC unit to kick off. Well 30 min after he left it kicked off again.

I went back into the attic and saw that the drain still had a bunch of black stuff in it so took a shop vac and went to the sink were the condesate drain empties and sucked all the stuff out of the dain. It was extremely gross but I got it clear. I poured a little bit of bleach down the dain in the attic again just to make sure it was clean.

It worked for 2 days and then it shut off again. I learned if I lift the float to the valve all the way up for 3 seconds and then let it go it would start again. But this only works for 12 hours or so.

The third time the company came out they replaced the float valve and it worked for a day and now its shutting off every 12 hours again. The blower only shuts off when the AC is working and it cools the house enough to shut it off. But when the AC unit outside isnt working the blower is constantly running.

If we have already replaced the air filter, cleaned the unit outside, cleaned the condisate drain, and replaced the float what could be wrong. There is no ice anywhere that I or any of the three guys who came to fix it could find. My pregnant wife is giving me that look like I am doing this to her on purpose. Please help.
