Hello
can someone explain to me what the parts of an ac are called and maybe use pictures from google to help. I know from what I have seen, there is a part placed outside with a fan, and a part placed inside that blows the cold air.
Also are there different systems (I've seen terminology here such a split system)

Outside is condensing unit
Inside is furnace/fan/coils

This is split into an inside and outside unit, thus called a split system. :)

Packaged units are when it is all in one. There are some other ones that are water, geothermal, etc... but packaged and split are two very common ones.
