Health experts said the brutal policy pointed to deep weaknesses in the health care infrastructure in China, where only 3 percent of dogs are vaccinated against rabies and more than 2,000 people die of the disease each year.

Maybe instead of this nonsense, all the dog lovers in the US could send them Rabies shots for their dogs? Pony up dog lovers. It's for the good loving dogs!

No big deal, I for one think dogs have no place in suburbs anywhere.Every time I hear a dog incessantly barking, I wish I had a gun to put it out of its misery.They should be in the country only......

Oh I wish you where my neighbor. My neighbor behind me has three small dogs that bark continously for 8-10 hours on end. The guy works evenings, so as soon as he leaves for work (3pm) the dogs bark, nonstop until he comes home around midnite... I would pay you to shoot those damn dogs...

Actuallly, after a while I stop hearing them, but I am sure they are still barking. I can actually hear one of them right now...

Well, I won't tell you about my neighbours standard toy poodles that barked non stop for hours on end and the day I snapped and climbed over the fence with a 2x4, they were lucky they could run.I have no use for barking dogs and feel sorry for people that take matters into there own hands and get flamed for it in the media.DEATH to the useless barking POS's.

I lived in a house once that had a family with 4 yappy dogs living in the house just 25' away. Those little colon smoochers would raise hell every time anyone would open the door. I love animals, but damn, that will try a man's sanity!
