Whoa, Hi Y'all. O.K. Check this out. We only like to use zone valve actuators with end switches on them so as to confirm that the valve is open before the compressor runs. As of late we have had real problems with Belimo valve actuator end switches loosing their adjustment and therefore not bringing on the compressor once the valve is open. I'm tired of dealing with these valves. Can anyone recomend another valve actuator with an end switch that they have had sucess with?

Probably to ensure that there is water flow through the condenser prior to the compressor coming on. Also it keeps pump volume down during down times when VFD controlled building water pumps are used.
In some buildings it's part of their "LEED" or energy conservation schemes.

Why not a Pressure actuated water regulating Valve.
